Dan joined Moran Shipping Agencies after serving as Operations Manager for Global Shipping Lines. However, it is his long career with the U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Office in Boston as Assistant Chief for the Facility and Container divisions that sets Dan apart. Dan has extensive knowledge and experience in vessel inspections and Hazardous Materials and Response coordination, and as a Federal On-Scene Coordinator Representative he has managed a number of Federally-funded cleanups involving oil spills. Dan has received numerous certifications from the Coast Guard, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and the U.S. Department of Transportation which have enhanced his expertise and stature in the New England maritime community. |
