As part of Moran Shipping’s ongoing participation in the Rhode Island Tech Collective, Kathy Connelly from our IT department conducted two workshops at an expo hosted by Rhode Island College designed to encourage middle-school-aged girls to explore careers in the STEM fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Since Kathy has a degree in engineering as well as technology credentials, the Tech Collective sought her out to help with their latest community outreach endeavor.
