"From 0800 to 1200 (local) September 16, 2025 for the dead ship tow of T/S Kennedy from Texas A&M to Sea, Vessel Traffic Service Houston-Galveston directs no vessel movements in Galveston Channel from Texas A&M to Galveston Bay Entrance Channel until the vessel departs the main channel. 
The pilots have coordinated exceptions for piloted vessels of 30-foot draft or less to allow for meeting with minimum wake and surge considerations."
