Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:

Low pressure between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland meanders there
through Tuesday, yielding dry NNW winds across the MA and RI waters.
Weak high pressure builds across the waters Wednesday, then low
pressure approaches the south coast of New England Thursday,
yielding periods of rain and gusty east winds. This low likely
develops into strong cyclone as it tracks over NY state Friday, then
slowly weakens Sat as it moves across northern New England Saturday,
before finally exiting into the maritimes Sunday.
