Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
 
High pres builds over the waters today, before moving east into the
Maritimes tonight. Low pres then moves over the waters Tue into Tue
night, with NW breezes into Tue night and Wed. Strong low pres then
may track near or southeast of our waters on Thanksgiving. This
system pulls heads towards the Canadian Maritimes by Friday, with
colder and blustery NW winds returning.
 
Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary:
 
...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...
 
.TODAY...NW winds 20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt this
afternoon. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft, subsiding to 3 to
5 ft this afternoon. Wave Detail: NW 6 ft at 5 seconds and E
1 foot at 11 seconds, becoming NW 5 ft at 5 seconds and NE 1 foot
at 12 seconds.
.TONIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming SW around 5 kt after
midnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: NW 3 ft at 5 seconds and
NE 1 foot at 12 seconds.
.TUE...SE winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming S 20 to 25 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: S 3 ft at 4 seconds and N
1 foot at 6 seconds. Rain likely.
.TUE NIGHT...W winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: W
4 ft at 4 seconds and E 2 ft at 10 seconds. A chance of rain in
the evening.
.WED AND WED NIGHT...W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt.
Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: W 4 ft at 4 seconds and E 1 foot at
16 seconds.
.THU...SE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to
3 ft. Wave Detail: SW 2 ft at 3 seconds and E 1 foot at
