.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
 
Strong northeasterly flow will decrease Monday evening to moderate to strong at around 20 knots.
 
Potential Tropical Cyclone 6 will bring winds at or near gale force Tuesday into Wednesday, mainly for far offshore waters.
 
A Tropical Storm Watch is now in effect through Wednesday morning for the offshore waters.
 
A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for the nearshore waters.
 
Elevated winds up to 35 knots and seas 8 to 13 feet are possible Tuesday into early Wednesday.
 
Currently, there is a medium to high chance of showers and thunderstorms expected through Thursday.
 
Mariners are urged to monitor the forecast and take necessary precautions.
