Due to the possibility of gale force winds (39-73 mph) associated with Tropical Storm Helene entering Sector Mobile’s area of responsibility within 24 hours, the Captain of the Port (COTP) has ordered Port Condition YANKEE MODIFIED for the GIWW between MM 270-376, and the Ports of Panama City and Port St. Joe. In addition, Port Condition X-RAY will remain in effect for the Port of Mobile, Port of Pensacola, and the GIWW between MM 120-270. All other ports and the GIWW west of MM 120 remain in Port Condition NORMAL. Current weather forecasts could change within the next 12 hours.

f.          Port of Mobile:                                       X-RAY
g.         Port of Pascagoula:                              NORMAL
h.         Port of Gulfport:                                    NORMAL
 
 
Mariners are advised that moveable bridges are operating at the discretion of the bridge operator and may be closed.
