MSIB 58-24 (attached) is effective at 8 p.m. on October 6, 2024, and will remain in effect until further notice pending the path of Hurricane Milton.
 
It is advised that all mariners continue to monitor and prepare for the incoming weather. It is anticipated that the storm may produce tornadoes, heavy rainfall, flooding, increased surf, offshore wave conditions, etc. Facilities and vessels in port should continue to take measures to ensure secure moorings and clear the docks of any hazards. Vessels are advised to prepare for heavy weather, ensure hatches are secured, verify mooring arrangements, and set navigation and radio watches as appropriate.
