"Negative tide levels have been observed on the Houston Ship Channel and Galveston Bay. Levels of 1.5 -2.0 feet below normal are observed in the upper Houston Ship Channel.
The National Weather Service has extended a Low Water Advisory until 6pm (local) this evening, January 15, 2026.
Mariners are advised to consider the hazards associated with low water conditions before beginning or continuing their transits."
