Good afternoon Southern Mass and Rhode Island maritime partners,
 
Please find the attached winter weather briefing from NWS Boston for Sunday and Monday. Onshore snow accumulation and offshore winds/sea state will result in impacts to vessels and port operations. Sector SENE encourages all mariners to continue to check the most up to date marine weather forecast for all areas of Massachusetts and Rhode Island on the NWS website.
 
Also attached is an update from the Northeast Pilots regarding Pilot Station Closures for Point Judith, Brenton Reef, and Sandwich.
 
Our next Port Coordination Team call for ice season updates/impacts is scheduled for Tuesday at 0930. However, please reach directly to Sector SENE Waterways Management Division or the Sector Command Center (866-819-9128) with any questions or concerns regarding the winter storm conditions over the next 24-48 hours.
