Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Intensifying low pressure over eastern Georges Bank predawn Monday,
continues to exit seaward, with high pressure building into New
England from the west later Monday. High pressure crest over the
MA/RI waters Monday night, then offshore Tuesday. Then powerful low
pressure moves through the Great Lakes Tue night, with its attending
strong cold front sweeping across the MA/RI waters Wed morning. This
system will be accompanied by storm force SE winds. Post frontal
west winds overspread the waters later Wednesday and then diminish
Thursday. High pressure builds over the waters Friday.
