Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
A strong low pressure system moves northeast towards southern Quebec
this afternoon, storm conditions become gales, along with dangerous
seas. High pressure returns overnight and remains in place through
Friday. A similar set up is expected Friday night into Saturday.

.TODAY...S winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 60 kt, becoming SW
around 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt this afternoon. Seas 10 to
15 ft. Rain likely this morning. A slight chance of rain this
afternoon. Patchy fog this morning with vsby 1 NM or less.
.TONIGHT...W winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 7 to
10 ft.
.THU...SW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 5 to
8 ft.
.THU NIGHT...W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas
4 to 6 ft.
.FRI...W winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, diminishing to
5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 ft.
