High pres builds into New England later today and over the waters by
late Thu into early Fri. This will gradually relax our gusty
northerly winds and rough seas. High pres will be centered over the
waters on Fri. This will bring a prolonged period of dry and quiet
weather.
 
Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank
National Marine Sanctuary:
 
.TODAY...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.
.TONIGHT...NE winds around 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas
5 to 6 ft.
.WED...NE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 4 to
5 ft.
.WED NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming N 5 to 10 kt after
midnight. Seas 4 to 5 ft.
.THU...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.THU NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SW after midnight. Seas
3 to 4 ft.
.FRI THROUGH SAT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt.
Seas 4 to 6 ft.
.SAT NIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas
3 to 4 ft.
