Low pres over the mid-Atlc states today will weaken as it approaches
the Northeast Thu. This will bring building seas and a better chance
for rain showers to the southern waters. Good chance for Small Craft
Advisory conditions through Thurs. Slow moving low pres will keep
weather conditions unsettled through the weekend..
Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary:
.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: SE
2 ft at 7 seconds and SE 1 foot at 4 seconds. Isolated showers.
Vsby 1 NM or less, increasing to 1 to 3 NM this afternoon.
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming S after midnight. Seas
2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: SE 2 ft at 7 seconds. Areas of fog. Vsby
1 NM or less.
.FRI...S winds around 5 kt, becoming SE in the afternoon. Seas
2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: SE 3 ft at 8 seconds. Areas of fog in the
morning with vsby 1 NM or less.
.FRI NIGHT...S winds around 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail:
SE 3 ft at 8 seconds.
.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt in the afternoon.
Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: SE 3 ft at 8 seconds and SE 2 ft at
4 seconds. Showers likely in the afternoon.
.SAT NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, becoming
W after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: SE 3 ft at
7 seconds and S 2 ft at 4 seconds. Showers likely, mainly in the
evening.
.SUN THROUGH MON NIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to
20 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft.
