Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Upper level low pressure system gradually builds over the waters
through Monday, which will bring increased west to northwest breezes
and hit or miss showers. High pressure then builds in from the
Canadian Maritimes through midweek, with increased onshore flow.
Monitoring a potential coastal gale that could bring enhanced
northeast winds and periods of rain late in the week through the
early part of the upcoming weekend..

afternoon. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Wave Detail: NW
5 ft at 5 seconds and SE 2 ft at 8 seconds. Isolated showers.
.TONIGHT...NW winds around 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas
3 to 5 ft. Wave Detail: N 5 ft at 6 seconds and SE 2 ft at
8 seconds.
.TUE...N winds 15 to 20 kt, diminishing to 10 to 15 kt in the
afternoon. Gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Wave Detail: N 5 ft
at 6 seconds and SE 1 foot at 9 seconds.
