Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Few showers are possible early this morning, along with areas of
marine fog. Wind shifts to the south-southwest with gusts reaching
advisory criteria. A cold front moves across the waters Saturday
night through Sunday, which the front could become quasi-stationary
over the eastern waters, leading to rain showers into Sunday. An
area of high pressure returns late Sunday and remains through
Wednesday, followed by a weak low-pressure system passing off shore
late Wednesday into Thursday.
