A dry cold front passes through southern New England today. This
front shifts winds to the NW. Strong Canadian high pres drops S and
remains in control Sat through early next week. Low chance for
showers Tue into Wed.
Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary:
.TODAY...NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, becoming N
5 to 10 kt this afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: SE 3 ft
at 7 seconds and NW 2 ft at 3 seconds.
.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt, increasing to 15 to 20 kt after
midnight. Gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: N 3 ft
at 4 seconds and SE 2 ft at 7 seconds.
.SAT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, diminishing
to 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: N
3 ft at 5 seconds and SE 2 ft at 8 seconds.
