Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
A cold front will stall over the southern waters today as high pres
builds S from the Maritimes. This front will return as a warm front
Thu, followed by a weak cold front Fri. Weak high pres will build
over the waters this weekend, then will have to watch the tropics
early next week.

.TONIGHT...E winds around 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Wave Detail: E
5 ft at 10 seconds. A chance of showers. Patchy fog in the
evening. Vsby 1 NM or less, increasing to 1 to 3 NM after
midnight.
.THU...SE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 3 to
4 ft. Wave Detail: E 4 ft at 9 seconds. Showers. Patchy fog in
the afternoon. Vsby 1 to 3 NM, decreasing to 1 NM or less in the
afternoon.
