McArdle Bridge Update

Mariners are advised that phased bridge deck repairs will be conducted to Andrew P. McArdle Bridge on Sunday January 4th, 2026’ through Thursday January 8th, 2026. Work hours will be from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The contractor is requesting one-hour advanced notice for bridge opening to clear crews and equipment. On-scene POC Mr. Russell Forest (978) 360-6079 The bridge tender will be on scene during the maintenance period and can be reached via VHF-FM Ch 13. Questions may be directed to the City of Boston Public Works at (617) 635-2220 or Mr. Spencer Kresge (508) 932-7254. Mariners are advised to use caution and plan their transits accordingly.

will build over the waters late Wed night and Thu, moving offshore
Fri. Strong low pres will move into the Great Lakes Sat. Rain

around 2 ft. Wave Detail: W 2 ft at 3 seconds and E 2 ft at
11 seconds.
.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: E
2 ft at 3 seconds and E 2 ft at 12 seconds. A chance of rain in
the evening, then rain likely after midnight. Vsby 1 to 3 NM.
.WED...NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 2 to
4 ft. Wave Detail: NW 4 ft at 4 seconds and E 2 ft at 4 seconds.
