McArdle Bridge Update

Mariners are advised that phased bridge deck repairs will be conducted to Andrew P. McArdle Bridge on Sunday January 4th, 2026’ through Thursday January 8th, 2026. Work hours will be from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The contractor is requesting one-hour advanced notice for bridge opening to clear crews and equipment. On-scene POC Mr. Russell Forest (978) 360-6079 The bridge tender will be on scene during the maintenance period and can be reached via VHF-FM Ch 13. Questions may be directed to the City of Boston Public Works at (617) 635-2220 or Mr. Spencer Kresge (508) 932-7254. Mariners are advised to use caution and plan their transits accordingly.

High pressure moves offshore on today, strong low pressure moves
into the Great Lakes on tonight as a warm front lifts north into the
waters. A cold front will cross the waters Sunday bringing gusty
winds into Monday.
