Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
Gusty west-northwest winds and rough seas today. Few snow showers
are possible early this morning across the eastern waters. A weak
low pressure system moves down from Quebec Friday night, though high
pressure to the southwest will remain the dominant weather feature.
Need to monitor the potential for a coastal storm late Sunday into
Monday, though predictability remains low during that timeframe.

.TODAY...NW winds 20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt this
afternoon. Seas 4 to 5 ft. Wave Detail: N 5 ft at 6 seconds and E
1 foot at 10 seconds. Isolated snow showers this morning.
.TONIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 3 to
5 ft. Wave Detail: N 4 ft at 6 seconds and SE 1 foot at
10 seconds. Light freezing spray after midnight.
.FRI...NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt in the morning.
Seas 2 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: N 4 ft at 5 seconds and SE 1 foot at
