Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters:
An area of low-pressure moves over the south coastal waters through
Friday morning. This will be accompanied by 3-5 foot seas and 10-15
knot sustained northeast winds with gusts up to 30 knots possible.
High pressure bulds in Friday afternoon through Saturday morning
with diminishing winds and subsiding seas. A cold front moves
through Sunday followed by high pressure early next week.

.TODAY...NE winds 20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt this
afternoon. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Wave Detail: E 8 ft
at 8 seconds. A chance of drizzle. Rain and snow this morning,
then a chance of showers this afternoon. Areas of fog this
afternoon with vsby 1 to 3 NM.
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 25 kt in the evening.
Seas 5 to 8 ft. Wave Detail: E 8 ft at 9 seconds and NE 2 ft at
6 seconds. Areas of fog. A chance of drizzle. Vsby 1 to 3 NM.
.SAT...S winds 10 to 15 kt, increasing to 15 to 20 kt in the
afternoon. Gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 6 ft. Wave Detail: E 6 ft
at 9 seconds and SW 3 ft at 4 seconds. Areas of fog in the
morning. A chance of drizzle in the morning with vsby 1 to 3 NM.
