North Cargo Pier 1A – Max. draft – 38’06”
North Cargo Pier 1B – Max. draft – 38’6”  -  max length for tankers at NCP 1B to be capped at 840’ (A good benchmark to use is a BCM of 420’) / 150’ Max Beam / 95,000 MT Max Displacement  
North Cargo Pier 2 – Max. draft – 39’06 (Vessels over 650’ restricted to 38’06)
 
A vessel with a draft that does not exceed 38 00″may transit the channels and basins at any time and stage of the tide. Vessels that have a draft in excess of 38’00″are considered “tide jobs” and will be advised by the Harbormaster and Canaveral Pilots of the time of boarding with consideration given to the stage of the tide. These vessels are generally scheduled to begin an inbound transit two hours prior to high tide.  A minimum under keel clearance of 2’6” is required during the transit of the channels and basins.

24 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by Port Authority via Harbor Master and Pilots.
 
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within Port Canaveral must have TWIC prior to be allowed onto any terminal.  Escort required without a TWIC.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

05/24/25 – PROPELLER CLUB - May 24 – National Maritime Day Observance, Rusty’s Seafood & Oyster Bar. 10 am - Port Canaveral Maritime Day Celebration - The Port Canaveral Maritime Day event will be held on Saturday, May 24th at Rusty's Seafood & Oyster Bar at 10 am.   A memorial ceremony at Rusty's will be followed by a Harbor Tour aboard Space Coast River Tours Blue Dolphin for a laying of a wreath on the waters of the harbor.   Pre-payment for lunch is not required. Lunch will be ordered off the menu and each attendee is responsible for their own tab. ATTACHED
 
05/LATE - Late May: SpaceX GPS III-7 - Mission: The Space Force’s Space Systems Command will launch a GPS III satellite atop a Falcon 9 rocket — this mission was swapped out from a ULA Vulcan rocket.
