A vessel with a draft that does not exceed 38 00″may transit the channels and basins at any time and stage of the tide. Vessels that have a draft in excess of 38’00″are considered “tide jobs” and will be advised by the Harbormaster and Canaveral Pilots of the time of boarding with consideration given to the stage of the tide. These vessels are generally scheduled to begin an inbound transit two hours prior to high tide.  A minimum under keel clearance of 2’6” is required during the transit of the channels and basins.

24 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by Port Authority via Harbor Master and Pilots.
 
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within Port Canaveral must have TWIC prior to be allowed onto any terminal.  Escort required without a TWIC.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

AMZ500-070615-  Synopsis for Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nm  1237 PM EST Tue Jan 6 2026    SYNOPSIS  An axis of high pressure remains over South Florida  through mid-week. As it moves northward through Central Florida  late this week, favorable boating conditions should persist.
 
Aside  from a few showers over the waters today, quiet conditions  continue through at least Saturday. Some patchy morning fog will  remain possible, particularly over the Intracoastal Waterway and  nearby backwater estuaries. The next cold front approaches the  local Atlantic on Sunday.    GULF STREAM HAZARDS  None.
