A vessel with a draft that does not exceed 38 00″may transit the channels and basins at any time and stage of the tide. Vessels that have a draft in excess of 38’00″are considered “tide jobs” and will be advised by the Harbormaster and Canaveral Pilots of the time of boarding with consideration given to the stage of the tide. These vessels are generally scheduled to begin an inbound transit two hours prior to high tide.  A minimum under keel clearance of 2’6” is required during the transit of the channels and basins.

48 Hours - advance paperwork for foreign vessels and US flag arriving foreign to Customs and Border Patrol.
24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must submit a manifest to the Customs & Border Patrol AMS.
24 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by Port Authority via Harbor Master and Pilots.
 
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within Port Canaveral must have TWIC prior to be allowed onto any terminal.  Escort required without a TWIC.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

Chapter leaders from across the southeastern US will be in attendance.  Conversations and programs during the gathering will focus on priorities, plans, and opportunities for the participating Propeller Club chapters.  The event will wrap up with Propeller Club Port Canaveral’s annual ShrimpFeast event!
