.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A moderate to strong northeast flow between 15-20 knots will continue through this morning with winds becoming variable this afternoon with the development of a coastal trough.
There is a high (80-100%) chance of showers from this afternoon into tonight with a slight chance for thunderstorms.
Another cold front will shift winds back to the north tonight, with Small Craft Advisory conditions likely through Wednesday associated with strong northerly flow.
Moderate northerly flow Wednesday night will briefly become weak to moderate as it veers to onshore.
Flow then increases to strong Thursday before becoming moderate offshore flow on Friday in response to a front with Small Craft Advisory Conditions likely.
Another front Monday will be stronger and is expected to result in very strong onshore flow ahead of the front, veering to the northwest behind the front.
Small Craft Advisory conditions are expected and gusts to Gale force is possible.
Widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms expected Friday with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms expected Monday and Tuesday of next week.
