.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
Winds will shift to the southeast this morning and increasing to
moderate to strong levels (15-20 knots) by late this afternoon
into tonight. Winds will increase to 20-25 knots across the
offshore waters, so the Small Craft Advisory continues to remain
in effect starting at 3 pm today. Dry conditions will continue
through most of the day before rain chances increase to 85-95
percent by late tonight. A moderate offshore flow is expected by
Friday morning in the wake of a cold front.
Weak to moderate offshore flow will veer onshore Sunday and
increase to strong as gradients tighten in advance of an
approaching cold front. After frontal passage Monday, winds veer
back offshore and increase to very strong. Small Craft Advisory
conditions are expected to develop Sunday night through Tuesday
night with Gale force possible Tuesday morning. Isolated
thunderstorms and scattered showers are expected over the waters
Monday morning through Tuesday morning in response to the frontal
