Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Generally weak northeast flow expected this afternoon, followed by southeast flow this evening, then southwest flow tonight. 
Weak to moderate southwest flow expected Thursday. 
Patchy light rain and isolated showers may occur over the offshore coastal waters today. 
Winds will shift to the north to northeast behind the cold front Thursday night and become strong through Friday night. 
Small Craft Advisory conditions are likely to continue through Saturday morning. 
A moderate northeasterly flow on Saturday will gradually shift around the southeast by Sunday. 
A strong onshore flow will develop over the offshore waters as we head into the work week.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase on Sunday and continue into the middle of next week.
