Please find attached MSIB 04-24 as the Captain of the Port has established a moving safety zone 500 yards around the WHALE rig in the La Quinta Ship Channel and Corpus Christi Ship Channel as it is transported from Kiewit Offshore Services to the sea buoy on 27th JANUARY 2024.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Moderate to strong south to southeasterly flow will continue this morning across the waters. 
Winds will diminish to weak to moderate flow from southwest to northeast through tonight. 
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the nearshore waters through this evening, and for the offshore waters through late tonight.
Numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected through the middle of the week, becoming isolated to scattered late this week. 
Weak to moderate winds will shift to the east and northeast Thursday night.
