Please find attached MSIB 04-24 as the Captain of the Port has established a moving safety zone 500 yards around the WHALE rig in the La Quinta Ship Channel and Corpus Christi Ship Channel as it is transported from Kiewit Offshore Services to the sea buoy on 28th JANUARY 2024.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

North-northeasterly flow will continue to weaken through the day. 
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible over the waters through the day but will taper off tonight. 
A medium chance for dense fog over the bays and coastal waters will linger through Saturday morning when a cold front passes through the coastal waters. 
Offshore winds will increase to 15-20 knots Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning with a high chance for wind gusts greater than 22 knots. 
High pressure will build over the coastal waters Sunday afternoon resulting in winds generally less than 10 knots and seas less than 2 feet for much of next week.
