Please find attached MSIB 05-24 as the Captain of the Port has established a moving safety zone 500 yards around the WHALE rig in the La Quinta Ship Channel and Corpus Christi Ship Channel as it is transported from Kiewit Offshore Services to the sea buoy on 28th JANUARY 2024.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

A cold front is forecast to move through the coastal waters Saturday morning and offshore winds will increase to 15-20 knots by Saturday afternoon. 
Moderate to strong winds will continue, especially across the offshore waters, Saturday night through Sunday morning. 
The flow is expected to become weak to moderate by Sunday night. North flow weakens on Sunday, then winds turn light Sunday night. 
A weak to moderate onshore flow returns Monday and continues into Tuesday.
