Please find attached MSIB 03-24 UPDATE 5 as the US Coast Guard will extend the dredging operations in the Corpus Christi Ship Channel near the Avery Turning Basin form 26 January 2024 thru 17 February 2024 between the hours of 2100 and 0500.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Ongoing shower activity is expected to continue through Saturday.
Onshore flow will increase to moderate today before shifting offshore tonight. 
Small Craft Advisory conditions will develop overnight. 
A cold front will move across the waters Saturday morning with strong offshore flow developing in its wake. 
Wind gusts to Gale Force will be possible Saturday. 
Showers will diminish behind the cold front.
Winds and seas will begin to decrease Saturday night, becoming weak to moderate from the northeast on Sunday. 
Onshore flow returns by Sunday night. 
Weak to moderate southerly winds will prevail Monday through mid week.
