Please find attached MSIB 03-24 UPDATE 5 as the US Coast Guard will extend the dredging operations in the Corpus Christi Ship Channel near the Avery Turning Basin form 26 January 2024 thru 17 February 2024 between the hours of 2100 and 0500.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

A weak southerly flow is expected today through Tuesday. 

Brief weak to moderate flow will be possible late this afternoon across the bays from Baffin Bay to Port Aransas. 

Weak to moderate southerly flow is expected through the middle of the week. 

Winds will increase to over 20 knots Wednesday afternoon, then persist overnight. 

Small Craft Advisory conditions are possible. 

Winds will diminish Thursday and shift to the southwest. 

Winds will then shift to the north and northeast Thursday night and Friday as the cold front moves through.
