*BUCKSPORT ME BLACK OUT DATES*

Listed below please find the “Blackout dates” for High Water transits to Bucksport for the 2025-2026 Fall/Winter season.  These are the dates on which no high-water transits (drafts in excess of 28') can be conducted to Bucksport due to a lack of daylight coinciding with the time of High Water.  Low water transits are still possible on these dates at drafts of 28' or less, depending upon the height of the low tide.

Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM

Low pressure tracks SE across New England today with an inverted trough developing over the waters tonight. Periods of heavy snow will be possible with winds shifting SE to NW within the inverted trough. The system exits Wednesday with a brief period of gusty north winds Wednesday morning. High pressure builds in from the north late Wednesday through Wednesday night. A cold front then crosses the waters late Thursday bringing a period of gusty northwest winds Thursday night.
