.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
A weak cold front will cross the region today then move
offshore as high pressure builds from the west. The high
pressure will pass offshore on Friday keeping a cold and dry
airmass in place. A coastal system passing just south of the
area will bring widespread precipitation to the region beginning
Saturday through Saturday night. The coastal system will depart
to the east on Sunday with high pressure and seasonable
conditions returning through Monday. A much stronger system
system will impact the eastern US Tuesday through Wednesday as
low pressure passes across the southern Great Lakes and toward
New England.
