* WHAT...Southeast to south winds 35 to 45 kt with gusts up to 60

* WHERE...The New Jersey and Delaware Atlantic coastal waters.

* IMPACTS...Very strong winds will cause hazardous seas which
  could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

 .SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
Strong low pressure moves from the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley
into eastern Canada late tonight through Wednesday, dragging a
strong cold front through the region. Another trough passes
through on Thursday. High pressure will otherwise be in control
through Friday. Another strong storm system will affect the area
late Friday through Saturday. Weak high pressure passes through
over the weekend, followed by another system early in the new

SE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, increasing
to 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft, building
to 5 to 8 ft this afternoon. SE swell 2 to 4 ft at 8 seconds,
increasing to 4 to 9 ft at 6 seconds this afternoon. A chance of
rain late this morning. Rain this afternoon. Vsby 1 to 3 NM early
this afternoon, decreasing to 1 NM or less.
 
TONIGHT
SE winds 30 to 40 kt, becoming S 25 to 35 kt after
midnight. Gusts up to 55 kt. Seas 11 to 16 ft. Rain. Vsby 1 NM or
less, increasing to 1 to 3 NM after midnight.
 
WED
SW winds 25 to 30 kt, becoming W 20 to 25 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 9 to 12 ft. SE swell 5 to 10 ft at 10 seconds.
 
WED NIGHT
W winds 15 to 20 kt, diminishing to 10 to 15 kt
