The Captain of the Port (COTP), Sector Delaware Bay, has set a modified Port Condition WHISKEY due to the forecast of high winds in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware area.
Marine Safety Information Bulletin is attached.
 
Also note that No vessels are permitted to anchor at any inner anchorage, per pilots:
Marcus Hook anchorage, Mantua Creek anchorage, Wilmington anchorage and Kaighns point anchorage.

* IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous seas will capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.

SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
A coastal storm will affect the region through Monday bringing significant impacts to parts of our area. Improving conditions expected by Tuesday as the storm weakens and moves out to sea.
High pressure will begin building back into the region during the middle to end of next week.
