.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
A weak coastal low will slide to the south and east today with a cold front affecting the area late this evening. High pressure returns through the middle of the week as the next cold front moves through Wednesday evening. High pressure returns for a short stint through the end of the week with a stronger system anticipated to impact the region over the weekend.

E winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming N late. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: SE 3 ft at 5 seconds and SE 1 foot at 10 seconds. Rain likely this morning, then a chance of rain early this afternoon. A slight chance of rain late.

NW winds 25 to 30 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Wave Detail: NW 5 ft at 4 seconds.
