* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
High pressure over portions of the Mid-Atlantic and New England
will retreat northeastward away from the region tonight. Low
pressure will develop over the Southeast tonight before tracking
northeast towards our area Tuesday into Tuesday night, bringing
widespread precipitation to the area. High pressure and below
normal temperatures return for the middle of the week. Another
cold front will track through the region Thursday night, with
high pressure building back in thereafter. Another system may
impact the region Friday night into the weekend, before high
pressure builds back in for early next week.

THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

SE winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NE early this afternoon,
then becoming NW late. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Wave Detail: E 4 ft at
5 seconds and SE 1 foot at 9 seconds. Rain until late afternoon,
then rain likely late. Vsby 1 to 3 NM early this afternoon.
TONIGHT
NW winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 5 to
7 ft. Wave Detail: NW 4 ft at 4 seconds and SE 4 ft at 7 seconds.
WED
NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt, diminishing
to 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft, subsiding to 3 to
4 ft in the afternoon. Wave Detail: N 4 ft at 4 seconds and SE
3 ft at 9 seconds, becoming SE 3 ft at 9 seconds and N 2 ft at
5 seconds.

W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Wave Detail: W
