.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
A quasi stationary front will remain in the vicinity of the
Chesapeake Bay region through the end of the week. Low pressure will
move across our area Thursday night into Friday, followed by a weak
cold front on Saturday. A potentially strong coastal storm system
could affect our area Sunday into Monday. High pressure should then
start to build in during early next week.

3 ft at 7 seconds and E 2 ft at 12 seconds. Widespread dense fog
early this morning. Patchy fog late this morning. A slight chance
of rain until late afternoon, then rain likely late. Vsby 1 NM or
less this morning.
TONIGHT
E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: E
4 ft at 6 seconds and E 3 ft at 11 seconds. Rain. Patchy fog in
the evening. Widespread dense fog after midnight. Vsby 1 NM or
less.
FRI
E winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, becoming SW
5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: E 4 ft
at 6 seconds and E 1 foot at 11 seconds. Rain.

W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Wave Detail: E

afternoon. A chance of snow in the morning. Vsby 1 to 3 NM.
