.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A warm front extending E off the
Delmarva will lift N of the waters this evening. A broad, deep
low pressure system will track NE from the Ohio Valley to southern
Quebec tonight through Wed, while pulling a very strong cold
front E across the waters. Locally strong thunderstorms are
likely tonight into Wed near the cold front, and all mariners
should use extreme caution for very gusty winds and very rough
seas in the stronger thunderstorms. Otherwise, a series of
secondary cold fronts will move E across the N portion Wed night
into Thu as high pressure builds just S of the area. High
pressure will expand N across the waters later Thu into Fri, and
then shift E of the area by later Fri. Developing low pressure
will move NE over the Ohio Valley and southern Great Lakes later
Fri and Fri night while pulling another strong cold front just
off the coast. The front will move quickly across the waters on
Sat, followed by a secondary reinforcing cold front later Sat
night. A series of low pressure troughs or cold fronts will
cross the waters Sun and Sun night.
