96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG
72 Hours - The Harbormasters office requires a 72 hour minimum notice of a vessel arrival. Any time less than 72 hours will be considered short notice and could result in vessel's delay to berth.
48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.
24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to Customs & Border Patrol AMS.
24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by Port Security Officer.
72 Hours - post port call, the Port Authority requires bill of lading figures for all bulk cargo.
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within the Port of Tampa must have TWIC and a Port-issued ID badge.  Anyone not having one or both, will need to be escorted.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

Hurricane Alert:  4/SEASONAL –  NO TROPICAL FORCE WINDS WITHIN 7 DAYS - 200 PM EDT Fri Jun 27 2025
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of America:  1. Yucatan Peninsula and Bay of Campeche:  A broad area of low pressure has formed over the Yucatan Peninsula in association with a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the northwestern Caribbean Sea and the Yucatan Peninsula. Some additional development is possible over the next few days when the system moves into the Bay of Campeche this weekend. By early next week this system should move inland over Mexico, ending its chances of additional development. Regardless of development, locally heavy rains are possible over portions of Belize, Guatemala, and southeastern Mexico during the next few days.
