96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG
72 Hours - The Harbormasters office requires a 72 hour minimum notice of a vessel arrival. Any time less than 72 hours will be considered short notice and could result in vessel's delay to berth.
48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.
24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to Customs & Border Patrol AMS.
24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by Port Security Officer.
72 Hours - post port call, the Port Authority requires bill of lading figures for all bulk cargo.
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within the Port of Tampa must have TWIC and a Port-issued ID badge.  Anyone not having one or both, will need to be escorted.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

10/09/25 –0730 -  TAMPA BAY ALLIANCE - Maritime Alliance’s annual On the Horizon breakfast panel discussion will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 7:30 a.m.  This year’s panel will explore Tampa Bay’s vital role as the logistics hub. We’ll host leaders from Tampa International Airport, the Florida Department of Transportation, and Port Tampa Bay for an engaging conversation about the present and future of supply chain logistics involving planes, trucks, and ships.

Northwestern Gulf:  A trough of low pressure located just off the coast of southwestern Louisiana continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms.  This system is moving westward, and it has limited time to develop before it moves inland over southwestern Louisiana or Texas tonight.  Regardless of formation, locally heavy rainfall is likely over portions of the northwestern Gulf coast during the next couple of days.
