FEDERAL, STATE & LOCAL FILING REQUIREMENTS

96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG
72 Hours - The Harbormasters office requires a 72 hour minimum notice of a vessel arrival. Any time less than 72 hours will be considered short notice and could result in vessel's delay to berth.
48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.
24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to Customs & Border Patrol AMS.
24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by Port Security Officer.
72 Hours - post port call, the Port Authority requires bill of lading figures for all bulk cargo.
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within the Port of Tampa must have TWIC and a Port-issued ID badge.  Anyone not having one or both, will need to be escorted.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

08/19/25 – TAMPA PORT AUTHORITY - Aug 19 2025 09:30 AM - 11:30 AM - THERE WILL BE NO JULY MEETING
The regular business meeting of the Tampa Port Authority, d/b/a Port Tampa Bay, Board of Commissioners meeting will be held in person at PORT TAMPA BAY'S JOSEPH GARCIA INTERNATIONAL CENTER (1101 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602).  Anyone who wishes to speak during the meeting may do so by signing the Public Comments sign-in sheet that will be provided near the entrance of the Boardroom on the meeting day. The Chair will call on speakers by name in the order in which they have completed Public Comments Sign-In sheet. Up to three (3) minutes are allowed for each speaker. 
A copy of the current agenda and supporting documents are posted approximately seven days before the Board meeting on the PTB website:  https://meetings.boardbook.org/Public/Organization/1448. We’ll host leaders from Tampa International Airport, the Florida Department of Transportation, and Port Tampa Bay for an engaging conversation about the present and future of supply chain logistics involving planes, trucks, and ships.

1. Southwestern Gulf (AL98):  A broad area of low pressure located over the Bay of Campeche is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. The low is forecast to move west-northwestward across the Southwestern Gulf during the next day or two, where environmental conditions are marginally conducive for further development.  The system is expected to move inland over northeastern Mexico or southern Texas
by late Friday, ending its chances of tropical cyclone formation.  Regardless of development, locally heavy rainfall is possible along portions of northeastern Mexico and southern Texas over the next few days.
