96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG
72 Hours - The Harbormasters office requires a 72 hour minimum notice of a vessel arrival. Any time less than 72 hours will be considered short notice and could result in vessel's delay to berth.
48 Hours - advance receipt of crew list by Immigration for any vessel arriving from a foreign port, or arriving coast wise with detained crew.
24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must have manifest submitted to Customs & Border Patrol AMS.
24 Hours - advance fax of crew list and approved visitors required by Port Security Officer.
72 Hours - post port call, the Port Authority requires bill of lading figures for all bulk cargo.
Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within the Port of Tampa must have TWIC and a Port-issued ID badge.  Anyone not having one or both, will need to be escorted.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

IN PROGRESS - The regular business meeting of the Tampa Port Authority, d/b/a Port Tampa Bay, Board of Commissioners meeting will be held in person at PORT TAMPA BAY'S JOSEPH GARCIA INTERNATIONAL CENTER (1101 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602).  Anyone who wishes to speak during the meeting may do so by signing the Public Comments sign-in sheet that will be provided near the entrance of the Boardroom on the meeting day. The Chair will call on speakers by name in the order in which they have completed Public Comments Sign-In sheet. Up to three (3) minutes are allowed for each speaker. 
A copy of the current agenda and supporting documents are posted approximately seven days before the Board meeting on the PTB website:  https://meetings.boardbook.org/Public/Organization/1448. (Past meeting agendas can also be accessed through the same link.) 1. Near the Leeward Islands in the Tropical Atlantic:  A tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic continues to produce a broad area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions appear conducive for gradual development of this system, and a tropical depression could form toward the end of the week or this weekend. This system should move westward to west-northwestward at about 20 mph and approach the vicinity of the
Leeward Islands on Friday.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days...medium...60 percent.
 
2. Eastern Tropical Atlantic (AL99):  A tropical wave located a couple of hundred miles to the southeast
of the Cabo Verde Islands continues to produce a concentrated area of showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions appear generally favorable for additional development over the next couple
of days as the system moves westward at around 15 mph. Towards the end of this week, this system could encounter a less favorable environment, limiting its development chances after that time.
