National Maritime Week at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s MARAD Ceremony

Moran was pleased to join industry partners at the National Maritime Week at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s MARAD ceremony featuring Secretary Sean Duffy and Interlake Maritime Services’ Mark Barker.

They honored former Chamber of Shipping of America president, Joe Cox, with a Vietnam Service Medal for his leadership as an officer aboard merchant marine vessels during that conflict.

We were also happy to join North American Marine Environment Protection Association - NAMEPA for pivotal meetings hosted by American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) that included Senator Mark Kelly and Congressman John Garamendi.

Separately, our Darren Shelton visited with Congressman Randy Weber - a big proponent of our national maritime system (and Texas!)
